For most kids, Halloween is pure fun. For parents of kids with food allergies, it can be truly frightening. This Halloween, our friends at Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) started a new tradition that's sure to bring peace of mind to food allergy families nationwide. They call it the Teal Pumpkin Project. Simply place a teal pumpkin on your porch as a sign that you have non-food treats on hand. You can paint a real pumpkin, a plastic one or just print out a flyer. We're super excited about this project so we compiled a list of nine non-food Halloween treats that won't break the bank.
