kea718 11 months agoUnfortunately, i cant post pics because this app is all messed up… But anyway… I remember LA Lights and pink jelly shoes in like elementary school. I also had a pair of cowboy boots I LOVED, I wore them to death when I was like 10. In middle school it was all about Tommy Hillfiger overalls with one strap unstrapped, unfortunately I went to a private school where I had to wear a uniform but the shoes of choice were these black Steve Maddens that everyone wore. I went to a school with a bunch of rich kids so brand names were a very big deal.

I was not allowed to dress myself until I was 13, so all my embarrassing outfits were my parents’ fault. My mom was/is really into sailor suits, so I had to wear those a lot. I wore one in fourth grade for my school picture (my mom made me) and people are still making fun of me for it.

The Angry Luddite 11 months agoOveralls or short-shorts. Until the, “Who wears short-shorts…” got so ruthless, I overcompensated, landing in clothing about five sizes too large for myself. Oh, youth.

Middle school I ALWAYS had on a pair of jncos Metallica or NIN shirt and topped it all off with a long sleeved plaid flannel shirt. It didn’t matter how hot it was outside. ALWAYS long sleeve flannel

Gap kids overalls (railroad worker striped), tee shirt, lime green converse, my mom’s beaded necklaces from the 70s, and these hair clips in the shape of fish. Most stylish I’ve ever been.
