Instead of putting his ugly face and name on the front page, they should’ve just said “souless killer”.
I am not saying this from a “Pro gun control” stance, but WHY would you have 5 guns sitting around in your house if you had a son who was mentally disturbed? WHY would you take your disturbed son to a shooting range? Yes, she had a right to have guns…but why would they not be locked up in a safe, where only the mother knows the code? And why did she EVER let her son handle one?
I want to be angry that this woman had SO MANY GUNS, but i dont know that it is appropriate to judge the deceased in that way.
she was in charge of raising him and should have known the status of his mental health. she sure as hell should not have had him in a home full of guns if she knew he was unwell. I’m a mother and I don’t have guns to begin with, but if I did they sure as hell would not be accessible to my kids in any circumstance, adult kids included. The owner of the guns should bear full responsibility to what is done with the guns in their home.
