15 Fun Ways To Fundraise

We reckon fundraising should be fun as well as rewarding, so have a look at this list of ideas on how to fundraise easily and in the most fun (and ridiculous) ways possible!

1. Sponsored Run

Always better in fancy dress. Extra points to combined fancy dress team efforts.

2. Eating Competition

Enough said...

3. Sponsored Silence

Sponsor that annoying co-worker to shut up for a day.

4. Dance-athon

Either in a 'relay' style shift pattern with friends or a solo feat of dance embarassment.

Extra points awarded for being conducted in a public place!

5. Fancy Dress Day

Wear fancy dress for a day! In work, school or just out and about, for a whole day, no cheating!

(Probably worth checking with your boss/teachers before turning up to meetings/class dressed as a dinosaur though...)

6. Sell Your Clothes

Sell them and donate the money! Either sell them online or go to a local Car Boot Sale. It's a great time of year to clear out your wardrobe and get rid of anything with non-ironic shoulder pads...

7. Shave Your Head

Volunteering your new shiny scalp as target practice is optional...

8. Hold A Bake Sale

Bonus; getting to eat any leftovers.

9. Wear Roller Skates For A Day

Be a safe roller skating dinosaur, always wear a helmet!

(No really, head injuries aren't fun!)

10. Tea Party

Who doesn't love a good cup of tea and the excuse to eat MORE cake?

11. Hold A Book Sale

Works particularly well in offices and schools. Put a collection box next to a box of old books and ask people to donate what they want in exchange for a book.

12. Game-athon

Put your love of gaming and sitting to the test. How long can you play for non stop?

13. Space Hopper Races

* Do not fight with spacehoppers. Hopping only please.

14. Hold A Pet Show

Bonus points for costumes and piano playing pooches.

15. Microvolunteering

Microvolunteering is a way of making aspects of volunteering really easy and breaks up charitable activity into bitesized pieces so anyone, anywhere can get involved. So whether you’ve got a spare 2 minutes or a spare 2 hours, there’s always a little something you could be doing. Most things you can do from the sofa in your PJ's!
