Okay, so let me ask you, why aren’t you equally skeptical about the carbon interests that more successfully influenced policy? Folks will always try to make money off of whatever the current state of affairs is. The question is, are we creating a system that has long term benefits for Americans, or long term costs beyond gainable value? Oil is finite, and it’s cost will reflect the changes in supply as that finite, reachable supply runs out. We can either start managing our energy resources now, or we can wait until we’re in more desperate circumstances, and our options aren’t so open.
