Patriots Player Pulls Driver From Car Wreck With One Hand After Championship Game

It’s all in a day’s work for Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork.

Help the New England Patriots go to the Super Bowl? Rescue a woman from a car crash? It’s all in a day’s work for Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork.

Massachusetts State Police officials are praising Wilfork for helping save a woman involved in a crash in Foxboro after the Patriots’ victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

According to a police news release, officers responded to the scene of a rollover crash involving a 2015 Jeep Wrangler early Monday, and were surprised to find the football star was already at the scene.

The driver of the Jeep, 38-year-old Mary Ellen Brooks, was trapped inside, according to police.

A trooper was able to hold the door of the Jeep open, and Wilfork reached in and pulled the woman out with one hand.

    Just an average weekend!
