This Picture Of A Criminal Hiding From The Cops In Plain Sight Is Pretty Hilarious

Where'd he go?

An alleged criminal's technique for hiding from the cops has gone viral after it was posted to Reddit.

Reddit user Richdakilla posted the photo with the caption "They've been looking for him for 10 minutes." It has since gotten over 2 million views.

He said the photo was snapped at a friend's house on Friday, and that the Grand Rapids, Michigan, cops eventually caught the suspect.

The Grand Rapids Police Department told the Detroit Free-Press that officers arrived at the scene of a domestic dispute at the home, and arrested a suspect.

They said that when officers first arrived, someone slammed the door on them, MLive.com reported.

At first, officers were unable to locate the suspect. However, officers not pictured in the photo eventually spotted the suspect on the roof and he was arrested.

Grand Rapids Police Sgt. Terry Dixon told MLive.com that the department isn't surprised that someone took a photo of the alleged criminal's clever hiding place, but said he hopes the witness also called authorities.

BuzzFeed News has contacted the Grand Rapids Police Department for comment.

Reddit user Richdakilla did not take the photo, a friend did. A previous version of this article misstated that fact.
