Great idea… 1 BIG problem with all of these. COLOR :: The first design (as crappy as it is) is the least expensive… I’d bet the last thing any airlines, or any paying customer for that matter, would want is to have a more expensive flight due to a more appealing boarding pass design. Take the color out… and these are excellent! Otherwise, be prepared to be charged for oxygen on your next flight

Just another case of a designer not understanding the technology they are designing for.

The major problem with almost all of these is that he bumped up the text size of the wrong items, so that at a glance you see only meaningless numbers. For example, #1 at a glance says DL31 29 26E 4. I would rather see FLIGHT #, GATE, SEAT, ZONE in large type and the numbers for each in smaller type.

I like # 11.

While adding color sure makes boarding passes look nicer, it’s probably too impractical considering the typical boarding pass gets printed on a machine that’s not capable of printing in color. I think the most viable changes would be prettying up the font a little bit—the one in #7 is quite nice—and making the critical information, i.e. date/time of flight and boarding location, more visible (bigger).

Great designs, though they’d probably make you pay a $50 fee to get the readable boarding pass.

I love his designs but I think everyone missed the most obvious change needed. They need to put the DAY on the boarding pass because I’ve met a lot of dummies who *thought* their flight was on Wednesday and get to the airport only to find out it was on Tuesday. (a lot = 3)

not to sound like a positive polly or anything, cause i would NEVER want to do that in the comments of ANY buzzfeed posts, but i really like his designs.

Why should Delta have to increase their ink expenditure tenfold to accommodate stupid people? If they can’t figure it out then they deserve to miss their flight dammit :)
