13 Signs That You Were An Amway Kid In The 90's

In the 90's, Amway became this national phenomenon, at least in your world, anyway. It influenced the products you had in your house, family vacations, and your feelings towards motivational tapes. Non-Amway kids just don't understand. Here's to the company that shaped your childhood!

    1. You know what "Go Diamond! Break 7! Fired up!" means.

    2. You played with your parents' whiteboard and markers.

    3. Your ultimate goal in life was to have a luxury coach and travel all over the U.S.

    4. You traveled all over the U.S. to Amway conventions. In a car. Not a coach.

    5. You played with other Amway kids when your parents had meetings and conventions together.

    6. Your parents would have their friends over and serve food... and motivational tapes.

    7. The tapes had fun songs like "get on your feet!" By Gloria Estefan and "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys.

    8. You know who the DeVos and Van Andel families are.

    9. You would sneak into your mom's make-up drawer and use all her Artistry make up.

    10. You didn't have name brands in the house, you had Glister gum and toothpaste.

    11. You took Nutrilite vitamins, instead of Flintstones gummies.

    12. You traveled to many different hotels and convention centers throughout the U.S.

    13. At some point, your parents stopped with the tapes, meetings, and conventions.
