Spanky Spankster 10 months agoAs of 12/31/2006, the unemployment rate was 4.4%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Three days later, on 1/3/2007, Democrats took TOTAL CONTROL of both houses of the 110th session of Congress. Remember when the misery started? Yes, it was in 2007. The Democrats who controlled Congress from that point on were so intent upon getting Barry elected in 2008 that they were willing to screw up the economy and make things worse for us. They also focused on their social agenda instead of dealing with the economic issues at hand. Even when Barry took the White House, he screwed up the jobs situation even worse with his bogus Stimulus Act, which was a way to give money to his contributors.

deaddrift 10 months agoThe Democrats controlled Congress from the 30’s until 1994, so by your own argument the extraordinary growth the US enjoyed during those many decades was all due to the left. Whoopsy! Looks like you made a little tactical error there. But hey, live and learn; after all, that’s what happens when you rely on someone else’s mendacious talking points.
