Did Photographer Alex Sturrock Inspire Adele’s ’21?’

Have we finally uncovered who scorned Adele and inspired that brillant second album?!?

British tabloid Heat might have uncovered the man who inspired Adele‘s latest (and greatest) album, 21. According to the Sun, the man in question may be photographer Alex Sturrock, 31.

“It was an intense period for them,” a friend of Sturrock told Heat. ”They met through mutual friends and hit it off straight away. He shot her a few times and that was just it. They spent all their time together – and when they weren’t together they would ring each other constantly.”

Sturrock refused to put a label on their relationship, even though he was living in her West London home and accompanying her on tour (he was Adele’s official photographer on her US leg).“Adele was pretty hurt by that, but Alex didn’t want to label what they had.”

Though the singer has not confirmed the identity of her subject, they have reconciled. “We’re becoming friends again,” Adele said recently. ”It’s alright. I know what I’m doing. Enough time has gone by.”
