smg7320 a year agoIs it unfortunate that his family lost a father and husband? Yes.
Is it unfortunate that the public discourse lost one of the slimiest, most dishonest blowhards of the modern era? No.
Am I making said discourse any better by pointing it out? No.
If his legacy died here, would we be better off as a society? Yes.
Would it have been better if his had ended his practices by way of retirement or coming to terms with his scumminess? Yes, yes, many times over yes.
Condolences to his family, but I personally won’t miss him in the slightest.
