You seem to think the person on the other side of the camera is committing some horrible act of senseless violence by PETTING A FUCKING CAT. At least this person is providing a home, food and shelter for mama and babies, rather than letting her fend for herself. Jesus, take a chill pill and climb down off your pretentious PETA-loving soapbox for a second.
