This October, ladies everywhere are “Mamming” to motivate women to get early breast cancer screening and mammograms.

3. “Mamming” is the “act of laying your (clothed) boobs on a flat surface.”

Like a table, bench, countertop, wall, couch, etc.

4. Odds are, any women you see doing this are participating in the #Mamming project, which hopes to inspire women to take action with early detection — specifically mammograms.

The #Mamming project comes from the passionate minds of Michelle Lamont and Michele Jaret. Lamont, a breast cancer survivor at 25-years-old, knows first hand how important early screening can be.
