      OK? I didn’t even work here a week ago. And even if I had known this, why should editorial staff have to check before posting to make sure there isn’t similar user-generated content floating around somewhere on the site? Not to mention the fact that, I suspect, oftentimes the user-generated content doesn’t match with the planned voice/angle/etc. the editor has for the story.
