7 Stages Of Deferment

Getting deferred puts you in limbo, especially when the final decision isn't until months away. So, here are the stages of deferment that I am currently going through. -Sincerely Sisters

1. Whatever happens, happens!

After the stressful interview, you know it is out of your hands.

2. Did I Just Blow It?

Yeah, after it sinks in that you just gave the interview of your life to get into a university, you think that you blew it...or not, wait, maybe- GAH! This hurts your head too much!

3. Feeling the Pressure

"I will let you know when I know." (NOW, stop asking because it is freaking me out!) Really, I felt this way when people asked how the interview went.

4. Overwhelming Confidence

While waiting to hear back for good news, you can't help but feel that you have acceptance in the bag.

"We will look at your application in the near future and then decide." Really this means, "We want to see all the other applicants before we give you a spot."
