7 Must-Have Items For College

Move-in day is just around the corner! We can't wait for our new students to join our Simmons family. To make the move a little smoother, we've compiled a list of must-have items for college! Originally posted on our blog, 300 The Fenway.

1. Rain boots and umbrella

Be ready for some rain in Boston! Arrive to class fashionable AND dry with cute rain boots and an umbrella!

2. Headphones

Everyone needs some quiet time. Having a good pair of headphones will allow you to shut out the world when you need to.

3. Fans

It can get a little warm in the dorm rooms. Bring a box fan to cool things off!

4. Flip flops

Flip flops make great shower shoes for the dorms!

5. Lamps

To decrease the harsh effects of overhead lighting, we recommend bringing lamps! It'll make your new room feel more like home. Be careful not to bring a halogen lamp, as they are prohibited.
