silverhellion a year agoI used to want to go to England, now seeing this influx of all these racist white people, I think I’ll nix those dreams for the time being…

moops a year agoU SILLY. Some of my best friends (and even my fiance) are British and I absolutely love it there. It’s a great country. It’s got its fair share of racists, sure, but you won’t find a place that doesn’t. I’d move there if not for their jobs problem.

Krissy Diggs a year agoHate to break it to you, love… Racism is everywhere. I wouldn’t let something like this sway you away from visiting England. It doesn’t deter me… Mostly because I’m a hot American girl who has a passionate knowledge of BBC shows… and I know there’s a niche for that there. ;)

Adam M a year agoI’m a Canadian who lived in England for two years. Wonderful country. Loved the media/cultural life, beer, landscape, and most of the people. But there are a lot of racists. In smaller cities in the North, people *assume* you’re racist if you’re white, and make horrible comments about “immigrants” as soon as they meet you. (Meanwhile, listen to my accent — *I’m* an immigrant!) Britain has to confront this stuff at some point.

Isabel1206 a year agoYou don’t want to visit England anymore because of that small incident? Because all ethnicities and religions lives so peacefully together in your country right?(assuming you are American)…Lowes??!
