That’s interesting how you put words into my mouth. So, let’s assume everybody’s on the same page about what’s happening in the video. The officers were reasonable in the beginning, but the process broke down very quickly. Tasering (multiple times, no less) is not a proper reaction to someone whose crime is offending others’ sensibilities. It can be dangerous and should be reserved for immediate physical threats. If THREE cops that supposedly train to handle these kinds of scenarios can’t apprehend one guy without using a taser I certainly wouldn’t want them “protecting” me. You have the nerve to accuse me of being stupid when you think that threatening someone with a weapon and running around naked are the same thing? You appear to be the one who’s out of touch. You really should read Bear Beorning’s posts and give them some thought.

I am shocked by how many people are defending these cops. Maybe someday they’ll be personally affected by injustice and realize how oppressive and corrupt our government is. By the way, just because something is called for in a job description that doesn’t make it right. People should be taking responsibility for what they do instead of using the job requirements as an excuse.
