I call BS, you can have a cell phone without it being a virgin mobile cell phone. That's probably not even the most recognizable cell phone. You can convey sliced bread without it being wonder bread. You can have a laptop without it boldly showing the HP logo. Having props to show new from old is fine and dandy, call it art if you want to. But lets call a spade a spade, it was a big ol' commercial. It could have done the same thing without dropping brad names left and right.
