serafinak a year agoHey, ryethebread. My boyfriend’s cousin did get a job in law enforcement in Topeka, KS. He went through all the training and was really excited about it, until he graduated and went to work for the Topeka PD and found out how utterly corrupt and abusive they are. He literally quit his good paying job as a cop to go do AC repair because he couldn’t stand how awful the other cops were. Also, I thought cops weren’t allowed to use any sort of physical violence unless the other person uses it first. I would hate to live in a world where our supposed “protectors” can just go around punching people merely on the suspicion that they might eventually get violent.
