    Owning my WTF and Fail. I agree 100% with the previous comments addressing how inappropriate it is to bring up the Afghanistan murders as a segue into rape in America.
    When I read the title of the article my interest was peaked because I WANT to know more about the Afghan victims. Who are they? How are they managing? What, if anything, can we do to help ameliorate the misery one of our soldiers caused? How do we let them know that we, too, are appalled, sickened and saddened by what happened?
    It’s not that rape and our society’s sick, sad reactions to it isn’t an incredibly serious issue, it is, but so is what happened to those sixteen innocent people. It would have been more respectful to address the Afghan murders on their own, the victims deserve that.
