You’ll want a pen to fill out immigration papers on board.

You might as well not travel if you’re not going to be able to see anything.

Chargers for your cell phone, camera, video camera or laptop.
It doesn’t matter if your not listening to anything, sometimes these can be used to politely pretend you can’t hear those chatty seat neighbors.
8. Antibacterial Wipes
Whether you’re a germaphobe or there’s no toilet paper; these always come in handy!
Not only will a scarf keep you warm if it gets chilly, it can also double up as a beach towel.
10. Books and Magazines
The last 30 mins when they make you turn off your electronics can get pretty boring.
Protect your eyes and hide your post-party hangover.
These are useful if you want to take your shoes off.
14. Hair Styling Tools
You might need more than the standard hotel blow-dryer.
Pack travel size sunblock. You’ll thank me in ten years.
These are handy whether you have a business meeting the next morning or you need to go straight to the beach.
If your bag gets lost you won’t have to worry about your precious valuables.
