why is everyone so surprised that Denver is *HIGH* on the list?
Hooray Orlando and Tampa!!! Not sure why Orlando is that high but hell, it makes me happier knowing others want to be where I am. btw, if you travel 15 minutes away from tourist county than Orlando gets a lot better than just parking lots and chain stores.
Tampa? Orlando? Phoenix? Who filled out this survey, my 90-year-old Jewish Aunts?
I'm glad my city didn't make the list.
My 5min commute, lovely parks, $700 a month rent, and 2hr proximity to Atlanta thank you.
Yeah, no other cities have traffic.
denver is an awful sprawl of a city stuck in a perm traffic jam - go figure
Take that, East St. Louis!
How did Detroit even make the list at all?
Yeah, I agree with David…you guys need to get over NYC. The collection of “WTF”s is really telling…it's THAT weird that Denver was at the top?
@Jack Shepherd - Denver is an incredible city. I totally don't understand your disbelief at it being so high on the list. There is a big, beautiful world outside of NYC, people…
I don't think these results are so completely unbelievable. I live in #7, and have OFTEN said I'd like to live in #1 & 3. You have to also take into account that Pew Research probably called a bunch of baby boomers/almost-retirees for this survey, which explains the high frequency of Florida cities (Tampa, Orlando, Miami)…at least that's the only way I can rationalize those being on the list.
Dumbest list…. ever… dumbest pollees…. ever.
Orlando=Hell. Unbearable humidity, gators that want to kill you, ginormous spiders that want to kill you, tourists, senior citizens, swamps, chain restaurants EVERYWHERE, toll roads EVERYWHERE, etc., etc., etc.
Where's Indianapolis?
Orlando?! Jesus. The place is a giant parking lot. Denver gets a big WTF, too, for being ranked so damn high.
