Where did this and the SAT score come from and how do we ascertain that they are accurate? As far as the SAT scores go, doesn't a combined score of 800 put her somewhere in the middle of the range since it is graded on a curve? An IQ of 83 from someone who's parents are teachers is a little bit of an embarrassment; on the other hand it may just be an indication of the level of achievement that you could expect from Alaska public schools of the time. With that said, her main claim to fame has little to do with book learnin' and intelligence built upon reason and intellectual acumen may actually detract from it.

I am a psychologist, and an IQ of 83 is in the “Low Average” range of intelligence, not Borderline Retarded. Just wanted to correct that.

I think it's funny that “Christian Pierre” is slamming Bush and Palin's IQ when he/she can't even spell the word “sentence” correctly!!!!

Well, anyone that thinks that people walked around with dinosaurs, and speaking in tongues is de rigueur has to be somewhat mentally challenged. I say it's a fake piece of paper that speaks the truth.

I would assume it's fake too. And IQ is a pretty flawed concept. But it's worth mentioning that 83 is in the range considered “Borderline Mental Retardation.”

I think the high likelihood that this is fake is outweighed by the extreme lack of surprise anyone would feel if it were true. In other words: it might as well be true. Ditto for the SAT .
