I'm taking the names down of anyone here that has written a negative comment about the Church and reporting to headquarters. I mean it.
Celebrity Buzz After 35 years as a Scientologist, writer/director Paul Haggis (Crash, the new Bond movies) has written a long, vehement letter to the church outlining why their stance on gay marriage has forced him to resign his membership. Coming on the heels of the unflattering performance of Church spokesman Tommy Davis during an interview with Nightline this weekend, it's going to be a long Monday for the PR folks at L. Ron Hubbard HQ.

Would anyone like some ice cream? Because there are no gay people here.
I was raised a christian and became a humanist because of the way the church treats gays and science in general. I can't accept a theology that is hypocritical, anxious, and treats people like crap. Can't say that it's any different for him. It's good that he left them - it shows he is thinking for himself. I hope he develops a better BS detector.
i wonder if hell be putting his e-meter on ebay.
I hope John Travolta quits soon!
Now if only we could get everyone else that belongs to a church that doesn't support gay marriage to quit, then we've got something.
Yeah, I would think the flying saucers, mind control, defamation policies, spying, and plan for world domination might have tipped him off before this.
He quite because of gay marriage and not because it is an INSANE CULT?!
