They resort to dirty tactics like name calling and screaming down people who are trying to find out the truth about health care reform. How pathetic. Some of them have called out to their followers to bring guns to these meeting and badly hurt the people there. Some people claim this is freedom of speech. It's not when you are refusing to let others be heard, and threatening violence when they try to.

Regardless of whether Limbaugh made his comment as a joke, his tactic (which is all too successful) is to distract everyone from what the real debate should be about: reforming health care in the United States so that it actually serves all the people, not the insurance companies. The problem with making jokes is that to be funny they must be grounded in truth, and the truth of the matter is that eagle/circle iconography is nothing new. It was famously used by the ancient Romans 2,000 years ago. The U.S. version was designed in the 18th century. The Nazis didn't adopt it until the 20th century, and so they borrowed from those who came long before them. While those who oppose health reform are entitled to do so, they should at least do it honestly, relying on facts rather than insulting and ignorant wisecracks. I don't know which is worse — whether Obama's foes are truly ignorant of their misstatements about the health reform proposal or intentionally seek to misinform people in order to build opposition. Either way, this is not how democracy should be conducted.

Stop worrying about logo. Watch what they are actually doing. Like sending out the SIEU storm troopers to stifle free speech. That is real stuff. Real bad stuff.

Lol… I love the reactions. “Limbaugh really needs to just close his mouth.” Awesome… nevermind the fact that the comment was tongue in cheek (regarding the similarities; that guy and his audience have more fun with your reactions than you could ever possibly hope to understand). It's funny how your ilk condemns the media for not getting the story straight when it comes to your lib role models, yet you allow one commentators post (and I am sure other 3rd party opinions as well) to color your 'informed' position on Rush's right to free speech.
