i really didn’t think the dove one was mysogonistic at all. i thought it was cute! the rest however, i didn’t like.

Not so much misogynistic as just plain stupid. Frankly, I think it says a lot more about how pathetic the men are than anything else. The only way I can feel like a real man is by driving around my shitty rustbucket with crappy tires in poorly fitting pants!

Like all males, I JUST WANT TO DRIVE MY SPORTS CAR AND WEAR MY DOCKERS AS THE ONLY RESPITE FROM MY LOVELESS MARRIAGE. Those are literally the only times when I can feel like a real person. Is that so wrong, Scott? Is that really so wrong?

P.S. Buzzfeed is essentially an aggregation of funny and/or stupid shit. I would expect the average Buzzfeed reader—and editor—to be able to take in a few commercials without getting their panties in a wad about women’s lib because a car commercial made a watered-down plea for men to reclaim their masculinity. For crying out loud, it’s a commercial. A Superbowl commercial. The Superbowl, not unlike Buzzfeed, is an aggregate of funny and/or (well, mostly) stupid shit. I’m offended at your offense. In fact, I can’t believe I’m still typing. Now I’m just mad at myself for being mad at you for being mad at Dodge. I need to stop tying. Now.

Misogynistic? Really? Really? A bit sensitive? And that Charger ad wasn’t that bad. I actually chuckled. And that’s the most I could muster at any of the commercials this year.

There’s some misogyny, sure, but at least with, like, the Dodge ad, it seems like there’s this *awful* idea of what it is to be a man. If that’s really what your life is, a car is not going to fix those problems.

The male insecurity crap was nothing new, and just as cheesy as it always was.
But that Dove for men stuff? Seriously, that stuff smells freaking awesome.

There was a cable TV one that definitely belongs on this list. It was something like, “If you have a satellite, your wife might interrupt you before the show is done downloading! Then you’ll have to scrapbook! The horror!”

you see, in the UK “pants” are what we call underwear, so I’m glad there’s a call for men to put on their “pants”.
