John McCain’s role in the Keating Five corruption scandal has finally entered the ‘08 election. posted Obama’s campaign has put together a web site and a documentary focusing on McCain’s role in the scandal, which was a part of the Savings and Loan Crisis of the ’80s and early ’90s in which Savings and Loan institutions lost billions of dollars after making risky investments and had to be bailed out by taxpayers — sounds eerily familiar, right?
