French First Lady Carla Bruni’s revelation that she’s slept with 15 men (before marrying Nicolas Sarkozy) kicks off a discussion of sex and numbers. Given that this usually strikes me as a particularly American kind of obsession, it’s kinda nice to see the French and the Brits getting drawn in to the useless morality of the number question as well.
