Culture Buzz This map, based on the always-impeccable stats of Nate Silver (dreamy!), shows when we can expect gay marriage to finally be legal all across the Union. See you at the big party sometime between 2021 and 2024, if the world hasn't ended by then.

Yep. There's just nothing like using force to really get your point across.
Alaska is a state practically FULL of nuts, retards, and hatemongers—right up there with Utah, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Kansas. No WAY are they going to allow gay marriage until they're forced to do so.
They could've at least made it rainbow colored and not rage and doom.
As an Alaskan, there's no chance of passing anything pro-gay here anytime this year. You can put your money on that statement. Not saying I agree or disagree, that's just how it'll (not) go down.

I'm surprised by the quickness of the West. The states of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, and Arizona are considered the Reddest areas of the country, mostly because of their high density of Mormons and their offshoot religions. I guess gay marriage wasn't that big of a deal to the conservative crowd as Bush made it out to be circa 2004?
Woo-hoo! Here in MD only 3 years to go!
Predictions based on what? Absolutely nothing. Next.
Alaska? Really? I think our dear friend Sarah Palin may have something to say about this. Something like, “It's gonna thunder”.
