Not sure why his performance in ‘Mad Men’ is being so lauded. He played a young priest with no conflicts whatsoever. It was like eating plain yogurt when I thought there were berries at the bottom (Peggy). Turns out nothing new about Peggy was to be revealed and I had to sit through another PG-Hanks experience.
Jim: yes, he could do worse. and i think i would actually appreciate that. but the fact remains that he’s not even TRYING he’s just doing his old man’s schtick. it’s brutal to watch.
