California Overturns Gay Marriage Ban
Politics Buzz The state’s Supreme Court ruled 4-3 to overturn the ban. In the opinion written by Chief Justice Ron George, the court says that ultimately, “domestic partnerships are not a good enough substitute for marriage.”
