Scott, those are in fact meerkats…meerkai?? You’ve got to check them out at the Prospect Park Zoo where 3 out of 4 of them (who’ve figured it all out of course but won’t tell the fourth) will snooze while one vigilantly stands on his hind legs looking for predators…

And check out the mascara on the sheep (that’s a sheep right?! I haven’t been in nature in so long I don’t know what anything is) in the foreground, those lashes were certainly curled with an eyelash curler too!…the things we’ll do for a kiss.
