cheerleaders can be hardcore. not only did she eat it, but then got her ass up and kept going. she hit hard, poor kid had a hard time getting her flyer up.

Well, the opposite kid did a flip. So I’d say it was in the routine, she just failed.

Nice recovery. I wish they didn’t have cheerleading routines like this below college level, though. It’s just too much of a risk for kids that young to possibly be seriously and/or permanently injured. Yeah, I know kids in high school and younger play football and other contact sports but they have protective gear and cheerleaders don’t. When cheerleaders are climbing on each other and jumping from shoulder height and higher, that sounds like a contact sport to me. Not learning routines like this before college isn’t really going to be much of a hindrance to girls that actually could get on a pro team’s squad after college since they have to go through a training program in the off season just the same as players do.
