SARA NAIL: Navy Nail Art, Navy Nail Polish

So today I went to afternoon tea with my friend, Eun Hui and decided to fancy myself up a little, inspired by my gorgeous new navy nail art! :D I treated myself during the week. It's a gorgeous navy blue with white lines and golden pearls, so last night at about midnight (when I still couldn't sleep) I decided to navy up my nails to tie in with my jacket and outfit for this afternoon. Navy nail art Navy nail art I'm not quite flexible enough (or skinny enough) to easily reach my toes, so I don't do much nail art on them however I was feeling the need (I guess I'm getting prepared for spring already). I used a navy blue for my base and then used white lines n golden pearls to add elegance to make the feeling of winter. It's such a wearable trend that everyone can incorporate into their winter wardrobe. Since I love some nail art I thought why not and gave the trend a go on my nails! I have recorded a video of my initial reaction and application which I will attach. Also you will see pictures of the nails below. :) Houndstooth nails tutorial Houndstooth nails tutorial This is a tutorial & here it is! Houndstooth! Today I'll show you a houndstooth nail art form Saranail. It's a beautiful and elegant nail art, with a perfect nail for winter. I find it very difficult to find a good houndstooth nail art. its nail art made it very easy to be painted and applied. This is how it looks like without any different coats to apply. Then let's check them out~!!~! Houndstooth nails tutorial Houndstooth nails tutorial 1) Paint your base coat(start by applying a base coat all the time). White is the first color, but you could use any color or mix of colors. I think the key thing is to go back with your base color and fix any lines that need it. The problem most people have with painting Houndstooth is that the opposite color (white in this case) doesn't really look like houndstooth nail art as shown. Here's a winter tweed fan brush manicure in white, black, and golden color. I was inspired by my friend, Anna! who is also a nail art addict. let's try that like this. Burgundy And Animal Print Nails
hey guys! Today I have another tutorial for you! I've been trying to post more Korean nail arts since I know how much you guys like seeing them, but for today, I want you to show Burgundy and animal print nails! so I hope you're enjoying them! Today's tutorial is going to be for one of designs from Saranail Youtube videos. you can see across korean nail arts there. The color was absolutely based on Burgundy. The mani I did features a strong red and animal print nails, so this tutorial will not only show you how I create the animal print nails, but also how to get the perfect mani! To refresh, here's the design I'll be showing you how to do: animal print nails Apply your base coat as normal. animal print nails Then apply a nail sponge in a diagonal way animal print nails with two coats in the same way animal print nails Apply white colour first off animal print nails then with a small brush applied a fraction of gel cleanser, draw them in a diagonal way. animal print nails After this cure your nail, and on the spots draw the same with a gold liner to point out. After applying top coat, this ends :) That's it! I think that's a pretty simple and easy way to do the mani, and many of you have been asking me how I do them! winter nail art White vine nail art Okay guys, I freaking adore vine, especially white and you all know that. ;) So I decided it was high time to redo my white vine nail art so that you all could make your own vine nails and be extremely happy like me. XD if you're interested in learning how to create your own adorable white nails for winter, keep reading! winter nail art White vine nail art I know in some places it's snowing except in Korea :D (*cough cough here cough*) or even in some areas it's still super warm outside so it doesn't feel like fall, but let's face it; Next Year, 2014 is only in a few more weeks so get in the season with some vines! <3 You're going to need white polish. I would also suggest having green and light yellow if you want to add some more charm! winter nail art White vine nail art White Nail Art Tutorial: 1. Start off with your base color.(white) 2. Next just draw thin white lines with a line brush lightly. 3. Then, you can also add a little white stems to that vine! If you're not good at "stem" shapes, go ahead and add just a chunky white line sticking out of the top to constitute as your stems. xD if you don't feel comfortable adding any lines to your vine, you can stop here! But if you want to add a little more detail to your vines, continue on. :) winter nail art White vine nail art 4. I then traced my white vine and white stem with only white color. Once again, if you're happy with the way it is NOW, feel free to stop at any time!!! 5. And finally, if you're feeling up to it, finish your vine off with white leaves. :) And yes, the white is acrylic paint with a dotting tool! Nails - Peach Nails, DD'ell Nail Polish
DD'ell nail polish Today's mani is all about the colour peach! I used two coats of DD'ell - Peach Orange on most nails - I Scream Peach! for some accent nails. At first I wanted to add stones pearls, but I prefer smooth nails so I placed a couple of dots with golden glitter from DD'ell. You can also see another peach nail art with pearls below. :) The result: peachy 'springy' nails.. just what I was going for! I've been trying to find the perfect peach shade for a while now, there either too orange, too nude or too flat. I had a hunt through my collection to see if any are close to what I'm looking for - DD'ell for nail polish! XD

Audrey Hepburn Nail Art, "Audrey Hepburn" Inspired Nails
Hey loves! I'm here to share with y'all a recent nail-art I did! This will be a relatively short post! I was inspired by Audrey Hepburn and I just released that I did Audrey Hepburn nails with Audrey's face on it! And I think these are really appropriate! so here they are! I received Audrey Hepburn water decals from SaraNail – Like any other water decals, they are super easy to apply. This look took me 10 minutes in total. It probably would have taken less, but I included the amount of time it took for the nail polish to dry. This one in particular takes longer to dry compared to my other polishes. (due to the water decals) Maybe it’s because it’s textured? Who knows! Her Big Brows, Doe Eyes and Midi Bangs — She was a Star in an age that favored well-upholstered Blondes. Her timeless Beauty and Style will never go out of Fashion. (still now)
Nail Art Designs: Checkered Nail Art With SaraNail
A very straight-forward nail art- black and red checks with pearls accents. Using red as the base, I drew the black checks on. As always, I love patterned nails, they look amazing in everyday use. The checkered nails were inspired by Sora Yoon who I believe is one of the excellent the nail artists at SARA academy. I think, in Korea this is one of the most common nail art as you can see the checkered nail arts. :) It could vary from simple or very basic to more sophisticated and complicated patterns that really looks good on your nails. This will be my version! :D I think after using red as the base, afterwards you would be better to make tiny flowers yellow nail paints to be polished and beautiful. :) I was thinking of doing checkered nail art in black and red today (*why dont you do black and red also for checkered nail art?) and ended up doing this. Best part of doing nail art is you can just go on and on with your wild creative mind and you have a new and a unique design ready in front of you.
Korean Cute Nail Art, How To Do Cute Nail Art In Korea
I'm sorry, I know it's been a while since my last post but I left for Busan last week and then I came back and I was quite busy! Anyway, many of you have asked me to write about manicures and beauty salon in Seoul. I usually get my nails done at Saranail Academy in Seoul Korea as nail artists there are very skilled and propose so many styles and colors. If you've been in Korea or any Asian countries before, you know that their manucure style is totally different than the one you guys have in Europe. What I mean by that is that here, they go for "nail art". Now I'll tell you first that I'm such a HARDCORE K-POP FANS!! Even though I'm only 1 year into K-Pop fans, but I've been very loved K-Pop so much like other Asian teens :). And like the others, of course I have the specific idols that I like. I'm not in to all Idols. Just a few of them that made me really fall in love. And of course I like Boy group more than Girl group because I'm a girl XD But because this blog is all about nails, and nails are identical with girls, so yeah.. I'm not gonna put Boy group here (shit). Just girl group that I really like the most. Yes I love them so much. They'r like my inspire. I like them not because of their beauty that could make anyone amazed, but because of their personalities. Their personalities which are unique, funny, innocent, honest, humble and not contrived that made me realize, however the term for idols when they'r on stage, they'r still human beings, just the same as people in general. Held at Gangnam, in Seoul, Korea Seoul International Nail Fair featured some of the most amazing fingernail artworks. Apparently, the nail industry is getting big in Seoul right now, that's why they've actually organized an exposition where nail artists could showcase their latest masterpieces. The Korean nail industry has grown over and over, so it’s no wonder this year’s event drew in a crowd of approximately over 10,000. I’m a big fan of painted, long nails and I have to admit other nail artworks presented at the Seoul International Nail Fair 2013 were pretty impressive.

Korean jewelry with stones Hello lovelies, I haven't done a tutorial for a while :( (But I promise to post it!) I wanted to create a manicure where I would combine an exotic feeling of Arabian.(Don't you think so? well, I'm not an Arabian..) They are all exotic and stunning. I have opted for a difficult way of doing Korean jewelry nail art with beaded stones. The inspiration for this manicure came from my valley dance, hehe. hence the title of this post. And I thought it would be cool if you could create Korean jewelry stones for this nail. This is probably the easiest type of nail art that I can think of, I mean...ANY and everybody can do this! Korean Animal Nail Art
Korean Animal nail Hello, welcome to my new blog! Did you have a good weekend? In Korea, the weather is getting colder like winter.. almost.. please take care not to catch a cold! Anyway, this is my first post of animal nails, which feature a panda, a cheetah, random birds. This looks complicated before you do this nail, but as you notice that I've only been doing it for about a month. right now, i found out how to do them more easily. (Next time I'm gonna show you the tutorial! Please check it.) Korean Animal nail Now here's the animals in Korea. I took the photo above the day after I did these nails - after I realized I had my camera settings not quite right. (I took long to take the pictures :( ) so the pictures below were horrible. (but I changed it!) I went from 0 to rage in about 2 seconds as soon as I saw these photos :-P Anyway, I hope you can still see what I was trying to do here! Korean Animal nail I was extremely proud of these nails, and though at first I thought they would be difficult they were actually fairly easy!
