I feel worse for any man that is waiting for you to learn how to write a proper goddamn sentence. Seriously….we cannot understand you.
Hear that, ladies? Abandon your fight for equality if you want to win Bobby’s approval! Because we all know male approval is the most important thing ever.
I actually kind of love Jennifer Love Hewitt’s outfit, and would totally wear that myself. I wonder if it didn’t just get voted drab because she’s put on some weight, and the cut makes her hips look pretty big? Because if so, fuck you guys. Pretty much agree with all the rest, although I don’t like Emma Stone’s dress THAT much.
Ok. No. While I will concede that a lot of unemployed and homeless people might migrate to Colorado for the appeal of marijuana, legalized marijuana is not causing people to become homeless. Let’s think this through, Buzzfeed. Unemployment, especially among young people, is astronomically high. I know recent college grads with all sorts of degrees and qualifications, and literally EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM is struggling. In this financial climate, it’s almost impossible for us to get anything but a McJob, much less move out on our own. So, SURPRISE! A lot of young people are, at the very least, under-employed. We’re also talking about people of college age…and people of college age have ALWAYS smoked pot. That should also not be a surprise. So take a bunch of un(der)employed young people, the promise of work in the goddamn marijuana business where one could legally grow and smoke pot all the time, and this is just the logical conclusion. But it’s not legalized marijuana that we need to be blaming. This is a latent manifestation of our social and financial climate; let’s talk about why so many young people are so disillusioned that they think moving to Colorado and growing pot is their most promising future.
“In the meantime, if you ever find you do need feminism, give us a call. If you ever get tired of working harder and longer hours for lower pay or for no pay, we’ll be here. If, as you get older and things begin to sag, you find yourself becoming invisible, almost as if you were only valuable as long as you were young and hot, we’ll be here to remind you of your worth. If you are ever raped, or beaten by your partner, and you suddenly realise how monstrous it is to be told to ‘take responsibility’ for violence that has been done to you, to be told that you asked for it, to be intimidated into silent smiles so you don’t upset the boys, we’ll be here. Whether you need a refuge to go to with your kids or a tumblr full of gifs to remind you you’re not alone, we’ll be here. If you need an abortion, or access to contraception, we’ll be here fighting for your right to the treatment you need and deserve, because we believe that you are a human being who ought to be able to decide what happens to her own body. We’ll be here, because that’s what we do.”
I love how the kitty licks the door when he finally reaches that cord.
White people can read, right? Like, I’m not the only one with any form of reading comprehension….right? “Race is not expected to play a big role in either side’s argument during the trial.” It’s not expected to play a *big* role in either side’s ARGUMENT. That does not for a second mean this wasn’t a racially motivated crime or that race isn’t a huge factor in this trial, like literally every other trial ever.
“Race has nothing to do with this,” said the white person in regards to some thing that has everything to do with race.
Hell no. This would never happen to a white women.
