Swine Flu Hotel
Because of one case of swine flu, more than 300 guests are quarantined in the Metropark Hotel in Hong Kong. Almost 300 people died of SARS in Hong Kong, so they're extra-careful. Police in face masks guard the entrance and sort out takeout orders. Americans order pizza, but the French consulate is sending their citizens poulet a la moutarde. One guest was spotted at a window with a sign that said, “We will exchange information for beer and food and cigarettes.”
