Hedge fund manager Andrew Lahde made a ton of money betting against subprime. Now he’s shutting down his firm and dropping out of the whole game - and announcing his decision with a soon-to-be-legendary farewell letter. Subjects touched upon in the manifesto include: how easy it was to find “idiots” to take the other side of his trades; how much life sucks when you’re chained to a Blackberry; and (of course) how marijuana should be legalized.
