Amazon is removing sales rank numbers from GLBT books because they don't want “adult” material showing up in searches and best seller lists. posted Apr 12, 2009 7:12pm EDT “Adult” material like a biography of Ellen DeGeneres. You know, hardcore stuff like that. So obviously this decision makes total sense and is in no way causing any controversy. UPDATE: Amazon has released a statement blaming the whole thing on a “glitch.” Twitter is skeptical.
