Maybe they should just accept that you can't always win, and that your biggest competitor is yourself. When I finally learned that, it made training so much easier, and I actually started doing better at competitions. Clearly, they just have A LOT of growing up to do.

They get lots of love and are told they are amazing. Which they honestly appreciate more. I once tried hanging my horse's ribbons on her stall and she knocked them off or chewed them. But extra cookies? She was all about that life!!
