Question- where are the classic leading men? I would prefer someone like Gable or Peck to any of these men. I got Bette Davis- although I’m not sure how as I’m nowhere as confident as she was.
I got Italian Renaissance- And I think it might be partly because the author thinks that the Renaissance corset hurts- But that’s not true- A properly worn Renaissance corset doesn’t shove all your innards in like a Victorian corset but rather flattens your bust line and causes your breasts to to push up- they are actually quite comfortable and foster good posture. Perhaps its a little less comfortable than modern underpinnings but I’d actually say they are more comfortable than a modern push up bra. Call me a hipster if you’d like I’ll own it- and I can’t wait for King Richard’s Faire this fall!
53 out of 67- all the INFJs in the house say let’s go home!
I meant May of of course-
Can I have the Worth gown please? Or any of the 1920s and 1930s gowns?! Oh- and the Elizabeth Arden. I LOVE these dresses!
I think Anna is adorable!
I’ve been out of college for several years now and I would do anything to go back.
I am thoroughly Modern Milly- but I am not going to chop my hair- I’m the flapper with Gibson Girl Hair- its too bad they didn’t go a decade earlier because I’m really more Edwardian.
Not only have I seen Endless Summer my Great Uncle surfer great Phil Edwards was in it (not as a surfer but sailing a catamaran!)
35/100 but I’m a Congregationalist.
