Was "Straight Outta Compton" Trolling Fox News During The Republican Debate?

    Twitter seemed to think so.

An hour and a half into the debate, moderators asked a question about racial issues. Scott Walker was the only one given a chance to respond before Fox cut to commercial break.

I'll take racial issues as a #GOPDebate topic for $8.5 million, Alex.

    Some viewers were disappointed.

Ummm was the 3 seconds discussing "racial issues" before the last commercial break the extent of debate on that topic?? #GOPDebate #WHAT?

"And now for our 27 second Lightning Round on racial issues." #GOPDebate

Wow. 8.5 million people talking about racial issues and only 1 question to 1 candidate? Shows how much Black folks matter to #GOP #GOPDebate

AND THEN THESE FIVE BLACK MEN APPEARED ON OUR SCREENS.

N.W.A's DJ Yella says watching Eazy-E's hospital scene from 'Straight Outta Compton' was eerie http://t.co/vLk6o4nc1r

    That is some next-level trolling.

If whoever's running Straight Outta Compton's marketing plan paid for a movie ad in the next break I would stand up and cheer.

amazing ad buy for "Straight Outta Compton" smack dab in the middle of the GOP debates

#GOPDebate talked racial issues for all of about 30 seconds because they needed a lead in for the extended #StraightOuttaCompton trailer.

From Police Brutality to Straight Outta Compton. Fox is hilarious. #gopdebate

Brilliant. Just brilliant placement. Now you've got to check out the trailer:
