Madewell's Email Unsubscribe Form Is The Worst Thing On The Internet

Don't just click the big button that says unsubscribe — first, uncheck the smaller box to confirm that you really mean it.

It can take a while to muster up the energy to unsubscribe from a brand's promotional emails. When you finally do it, you want it to be fast and painless.

That's why the unsubscribe page for Madewell's emails is particularly infuriating.

You might quickly hit unsubscribe and close the window. But! That's not enough. Before pressing the big UNSUBSCRIBE button, you have to uncheck a box then hit the button.

This, of course, is to make sure all those people who make their way to the unsubscribe page and click the big black UNSUBSCRIBE button don't accidentally end up unsubscribing themselves.

And it seems to be working....

Exercise in futility: Trying to unsubscribe from Madewell's emails. 3 attempts now, still getting the damn things.

I just want to live in a world where when I unsubscribe from Madewell emails, I never get a Madewell email again.

And the inbox woes continue.
