Apple’s new senior vice president of retail and online stores, Angela Ahrendts, will diversify the company’s executive ranks when she starts in the spring of 2014.
The Burberry CEO, who’s filling a spot that has been vacant for a year, will be reporting to Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Apple’s top nine executive appear to be nearly all white men as per its website — not entirely surprising in the male-dominated tech industry, but interesting, nonetheless.
With Ahrendts, Apple’s executive list will look a little more like its board of directors, which also includes one woman.
