    Freedom Of Expression

A kid mounted a confederate flag on his truck and was reprimanded for it, by administrators and students.

So the other day a kid at my school drove his big, dirty, diesel-powered, lifted truck with a blue cab and yellow bed to school. Which wouldn't turn any heads (or maybe only a few) if he hadn't had a confederate flag hanging from the back. Everyone was talking about it. The school made him take it down because it was an "educational distraction," parked in the school parking lot out of view of most of the classrooms. People kept saying that he supports slavery and whatever. Honestly, he's just one of those kids who likes to test the waters and stir up controversy. If it was someone else, nobody would have made a big deal out of it. It was only a distraction because the kids in my school are immature. How are people allowed to protest in public streets but this kid can't silently fly this flag on his truck? I think he should be allowed to fly that flag on his truck. Sometimes people do things you don't agree with. In the real world there isn't gonna be a vice principal to cuddle you every time you get offended.
