kyrski 10 months agothough i identify as a feminist, i understand where she’s coming from. if i ever say i’m one, reactions are mixed: it’s either a nod of acknowledgement, or it looks like i’ve grown three heads. and i agree wholeheartedly that many women will claim they’re feminists but work against our agenda (which, at the end of the day is always equal rights, not superior rights). i also have known feminists who refuse to acknowledge trans or gay rights, and completely disregard people of color. that is not feminism. how can you fight for your equality if you’re not willing to help others on the fight for theirs? it’s a bummer she feels this way but understandable.
