“Let’s have a bloke question?” …really?
“Let’s have a bloke question?” …really?
“Turned off to avoid detection” sounds like an intentional takeover, a hijacking…
Buzzfeed needs more slow mo hoechlin!
I got Heidi
We have plastic cups, but they are white, not red. That’s the thing. I’ve never actually seen red ones.
We use plastic ups at parties in Australia, but they are usually white or clear. Or people just drink straight out of their cans/ciders. Maybe ‘BYO’ isn’t a thing in America.
Lots of Taylors lyrics are very on point. Especially in ‘All too well’ which is about remembering everything that happened fondly but also seeing that you had to break up. She also has songs that aren’t about her or break ups at all. Such as ‘Starlight’ which is about the life of Jackie O (I think? Someone like that anyway). And ‘The Lucky One’ which is a hypothetical song and not based on anything that really happened at all.
Some of these are so boagn. I’ll never forget a story I heard from a fellow teacher - he had a girl in his class called La-a pronounced ‘ladasha’ omg. Just give your kids normal names please.
I did not know any of the pictures or recognise any of the names…but I’m not American so I think that’s allowed :)
She is morphing into Karlie Kloss
I guess they thought a graphic novel would break down language barriers…but there is no way to say ‘we don’t want you, we don’t care about your problems, you won’t be welcome here so don’t even try’ without sounding like an awful country. The solution is not taking in asylum seekers - it is in fixing the countries these people come from which unfortunately Australia can’t really help with.
This is amazing. More articles like this ok. This is real human interest, not like celebrities and such.
To quote David Mitchell ‘when you’ve just farted and smelled it, tell me, whose bored?’
If a guy won’t give you oral, break up with him. Oral is very important and it is not normal for a man to refuse. My man wants me to shower/clean first to there’s no taste, but hey, I can do that for oral…
This might be weird but I swear i can smell my period and I can smell it on other women around me. Like an off, bloody kind of smell. Also, I don’t know what kind of blood people have, but period stains always wash out in the laundry, so…
I know where she got her moves…
*It’s perfectly fine (even excpected) to say “Straya Day, Cunts!” to your friends :)
Yeahhh….but you know they just boinked anyway….
As a teacher, I was taught to speak in a lower voice, because male students don’t respond to a higher pitched voice as well.
How short do you have to be to technically be a ‘little person’?
Def. Juno Temple. I watched a few of her films recently and she is beautiful but not in a typical way, great with accents and acting. On a similar not, Saoirse Ronan!
Good thing it is *only* 39 today here.
Had some pool beers yesterday. Beering whilst swimming, thats doing the heatwave right.
Yeah, I like vegetarians that are pretty laid back. I have a vegie friend who still has a bit of sneaky gravy on her fries, she doesn’t beat herself up about it.
Ones that really cause me to panic are “You choose the place, I’ll go wherever you want” and “we’ll do whatever you want to do” because I just freak out I hate having to choose.
Perhaps the new world of HD gif is upon us.
I don’t take it at the exact time every day… in the leaflet that came with it, it said if you forget to take the pill at the exact time, u can take it within 12 hours and its fine. And within my experience that is true. I was doing an 8am take, and a few times forgot and took it at about 5-6pm and there was no problem.
I remember a CSI or NCIS or something where the body fell on a keyboard with the same effect and they were able to calculate the time of death based on how many letters there were haha
Baby Sitters Club was my all time favourite. I have only read one Sweet Valley book, ‘The Curse of the Ruby Necklace’ and it was amazing.
Doesn’t really look like the picture. But I tried. And it tastes awesome.
John Lynch is effing hot.
She was blonde in the movie ‘Sylvia’ (played by Gwynie Paltrow) so I just assumed she was blonde her whole life…now I feel stupid.
I have read The Maze Runner. I did not care for it. Plodding, dusty and boring.
omg only an hour until the new episode woooh
The Royal Ranger by John Flanagan was the only Australian written book I read this year. I am bringing shame to my country :(
I hate the feeling of blood on my hands by those drowned asylum seekers…I feel so guilty hearing about those stories, but also helpless that everyday Australians can really do anything. Their countries need to be fixed, not our policies. Unfortunately that probably won’t ever happen.
The closest thing I had to ‘the talk’ was my dad telling me at 22 that it’s important to use protection…and he was giggling the whole time. I feel like he was dared or lost a bet or something…
Weird to think of a Christmas without the beach and playing cricket out in the backyard and going to the local pool…
You should come to the Country Music Festival too (just sayin)
I don’t actually think out loud in my head. I didn’t realise you could. I was saying once how in True Blood Sooki hears peoples thoughts and it’s weird because there are no words in your head like that and my sisters all ‘yes there are…you are weird’.
I love the books but honestly Catching Fire the film was better than the book for me (I find first person so restricting in terms of story telling, not always, but in this kind of novel). I’m really excited for the changed in Mockigjay. I expect it’ll be more thrilling than the book too (although probably just as cold/depressing/war is hell). Can’t wait to see (spoiler!) Gale kill Prim and Katniss kill Coin. ALos, I think the movie split ( end of part one) will happen like this: From Katniss POV, Peeta reaches out towards Katniss, as she loses consciousness from being strangled, the screen fades to black.
But vegemite really is delicious. It tastes salty, but in a good way. Also you put it on your kids sandwiches to take to school, so when you are an adult it sort of tastes nostalgic in a way.
