RyRyan 8 months agoThe first thing that is killed during war is the truth, and if you think that the FSA rebels have not killed innocent civilians, blamed it Assad’s “troops” and used it as propaganda then you’re delusional. For your information, in the last day or so, rebels blew up a hospital in Syria killing hundreds of people including doctors, nurses and civilians. That wont be shown on most news sites though because it doesn’t make the rebels look like the good guys. Please inform yourself (do some research) before posting comments that make it sound like you were actually there. Here is a link to a video and article about the hospital I mentioned: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/9521312/Syrian-rebels-claim-to-have-blown-up-hospital-in-Homs.html … it doesn’t mention the amount of people killed because, well, would you expect it to? And for the people who hit win, they probably just misread the article.

courtneyh 8 months agoThank you for your insightful link. In an attempt to “better inform myself” I looked into said link and learned not only that the hospital involved in bombing “used to be for people, and is now being used by Assad forces” (mysteriously no mention of prior civilian hospital patients) but also that your linked report that was meant to inform me “cannot be independently verified”. Which is understandable, as Assad’s regime has restricted out of state media as well as life saving aid convoys from entering Syria.
The innocence lost in war proves that nobody wins. And you’re right, I thankfully am not in Syria. That in no way inhibits my ability to speak up for civilians protesting for their political rights, human rights and freedom against a dictator that is using helicopter gunships, fighter jets and machine guns agains them. :) -
