"Fresh Off The Boat" Tackled A Scene About Date Rape And It Was Hilarious

Tuesday night's episode of Fresh Off The Boat had a very important lesson to teach.

On Tuesday night, ABC sitcom Fresh Off The Boat had a scene where Eddie's parents give him "the talk," only it ends a little differently than you might expect.

In case you can't watch it, here's how it went down. Constance Wu's character Jessica (who is the best part of the show) wants to make sure her son Eddie knows that he shouldn't date rape.

And here's how she does it...

And the reactions have been awesome!

im crying on fresh off the boat the mom was trying to teach her son that date rape is bad so she barges into his room with a stuffed bunny

"Did you tell him not to date rape?" Fresh Off The Boat is my favorite new show and they're addressing the real issue with rape here!

Eddie's mom teaching him about consent, date rape and respecting girls = good. But have a feeling it became a punchline? #FreshOffTheBoat

    +1,000,000 for Mom's bunny attack/anti-rape lesson! #FreshOffTheBoat

"Did you tell him not to date rape? YOU LIKE THAT? GIRLS DON'T LIKE THAT. NO MEANS NO." @ConstanceWu keeping it real. #FreshOffTheBoat

LOL... the way the mom taught her son not to date rape in #FreshOffTheBoat is basically the way all boys should be taught.

Although it faced some backlash after it was announced nine months ago, Fresh Off The Boat has been a Twitter favorite since it debuted in the beginning of February.

Fresh Off The Boat airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
